On Sunday 2nd December I took part in an event called Hep Live at RE:SO organised by the one and only Mumma hep aka Catherine Wright
The event consisted of a live make over and shoot portraying the concept of vintage meets modern, a customization table so u could get real stuck in and creative with ribbon, fabric and studs. And not forgetting a great unique venue with students art work on show /for sale, and lots of lovely garments from
Hepwright's Original Vintage
You may of seen a previous post about me going to Hepwright's to choose the looks for the event, so all i had to do on the day was dress the models in the looks i had created. You will notice from the pictures i did get attracted to the customization table while models were getting hair and make up done, i made a couple of studded chokers for future shoots.

As soon as i got to RE:SO I pulled my looks out and organised them separately from the other garments.

After getting the looks together and meeting the models I then had a quick chat with the lovely team from Cream Hair Design Ltd on hairstyles I felt will go with the looks I had created.
I then couldn't resist at getting stuck in at the customization table.
After studding a couple of chokers and a pocket on a t-shirt, I then was approached by a couple of photography students who asked if they could take a couple of shots of my outfit.
By this time some of the models hair was done and looking dope i must say. So i cracked on with dressing/styling the models to the concept of "vintage meets modern".
then on to make up.
Once the first 3 models was all ready it was time for them to have a mini photo shoot in front of the vintage back drop.

Urban meets Vintage
A Touch Of Tartan.
Cream Hair Design Ltd continued with styling the rest of the models hair.
I then styled them up ready for there mini shoot.
As all this madness was going on the general public came into Re:So to have a nose at what was going on.
The vibe at Re:So was real nice, felt like i was in Brick Lane.
Rounding up the day I had some shots taken of me, the models and the looks I created.
Over all i really did enjoy styling and being a part of this event, i actually wouldn't mind doing it every Sunday.
I want to say a big thank you to every one that was involved and thanks for letting me be involved in such a great event.
